Which Padding Is Right for Your Dog?

Is warmth alone enough? Not quite.
The right outfit depends on your dog’s personality and walking environment

That’s why SSOOOK offers two winter lineups for different lifestyles
Let’s find the most comfortable, warmest choice for your dog together

In the cold of winter, a dog’s outerwear isn’t just about looking good. It keeps their body warm and helps them stay comfortable even in biting winds. And there’s one more thing that matters just as much as warmth: your dog’s personality and activity level. Every dog walks in a different environment and has a different temperament, so choosing clothes that suit them matters more than anything.

With this in mind, SSOOOK offers two winter lineups for dogs with different lifestyles: the Goosefeel Padded Coveralls, which combine urban style with warmth, and our outdoor line focused on outdoor activity and durability, the Identity Snow Coverall and the Goosefeel Down Cape.

Goosefeel Padded Coveralls

The Goosefeel Padded Coveralls are SSOOOK’s signature winter outerwear, developed using the structure and warmth of premium goose down as their model. Made with thin, soft-to-the-touch Air-Tex™ fabric and Goosefeel, a synthetic goose down filling developed in-house by SSOOOK, they deliver soft, cozy warmth.

With warmth that holds up to −30°C (based on the Goosefeel Padded Coveralls 3) and a flexible, comfortable fit, they’re especially recommended for city walks and outings during cold snaps.

Snow Coverall & Goosefeel Down Cape

SSOOOK’s outdoor line, the Identity Snow Coverall and the Goosefeel Down Cape, was inspired by ski and snow wear. Made with Silence Tex™, a fabric that resists friction and scratches while offering excellent water resistance, they can be worn with ease in rough conditions like snowfields, forest trails, and gravel paths. Practical features such as a leash hole, belt strap, 3M reflective tape, and Velcro details were added with real-world use in mind. That makes them outdoor wear especially well suited to active dogs and dogs who love romping in the snow, even in winter.

The biggest difference is in the zipper. The Goosefeel Padded Coveralls have a single inner cover that keeps out rain and prevents fur from getting caught, while the Snow Coverall adds an extra layer, a cover with Velcro that wraps over the top of the zipper, for a double-layer design.

Which Padding Suits Your Dog?

When choosing winter padding for your dog, it’s important to consider not just warmth, but also your dog’s personality and walking style.

For active dogs who love running through the snow, we recommend our outdoor line, such as the Identity Snow Coverall or the Goosefeel Down Cape. Silence Tex fabric doesn’t damage easily even in rough conditions, so they can move freely.

On the other hand, for dogs who feel the cold easily or enjoy strolls to city parks and cafés, we recommend the soft, warm Goosefeel Padded Coveralls. Their light, comfortable fit and excellent warmth keep them cozy even in a cold snap.

It’s not that one padding is better than the other. The right choice depends on where and how your dog spends the winter. This winter, dress your dog in the warmth that suits them best.
