Q. We heard that you experienced long hours of travel, including car journeys, during your trip. While moving between different modes of transportation, which moment stood out to you the most?
A. As a developer of SSOOOK bags, I conduct long-term testing in a wide range of situations to observe how they perform in real-life use. One of the most memorable moments was when I traveled from Paris, France to London, UK. To cross the Dover Strait, we boarded the Eurostar with our car, and during that journey, I used the SSOOOK backpack as a car seat.
Although it was a long trip that involved switching between a car and a train and crossing beneath the sea, the dogs stayed extremely comfortable inside the bag for nearly seven hours. This experience once again highlighted how important a well-designed structure is—one that allows dogs to remain stable and comfortable across various travel environments.
Q. I heard you took a long-haul flight of about 15 hours from Seoul to New York. How were the dogs’ condition during the flight?
A. The flight from Seoul to New York took about 15 hours. Kkuri, who weighs 6 kg, spent the time in the SSOOOK sling bag—lying down, stretching out, and even rolling over, naturally changing positions as she rested.
Watching her relax and make eye contact with me, the 15 hours felt like they passed in no time. One of the flight attendants even said, “She hasn’t whined even once—she’s incredibly calm.”

Q. When visiting dog-friendly restaurants or cafés, when did the SSOOOK bag feel especially helpful?
A. At dog-friendly restaurants, the most important thing is that dogs can stay calm and comfortable without whining. That’s what allows owners to truly relax and enjoy their meal.
For dogs to stay calm, they need to be able to naturally lie down and rest inside the bag—and if they can even fall asleep, that’s ideal. You especially notice the difference in moments like stepping away briefly or going to the restroom for a short time.
