Five Star Pomeranians in Switzerland

We spoke with a SSOOOK member living in Switzerland with five Pomeranians to hear about their real-life experience with our products.

Pomeranians are known for their thick double coats, small size, and lively personalities. At first glance, you might think their fluffy fur provides plenty of protection, leading many to believe that "Pomeranians don't really need clothes." Q. What has your experience been like since using the SSOOOK Coveralls?

A. My experience with the SSOOOK Coveralls has been truly outstanding. At the beginning, both our dogs and we as owners needed a short moment to adjust. We had to get used to putting the Coveralls on, and the dogs needed to feel comfortable wearing them. However, this adjustment period was surprisingly short.

Q. What is the general perception of "dog clothing" abroad?

A. Honestly, we have not experienced any real drawbacks. Some dog owners initially assume that the coveralls are just a fashion statement. In Switzerland, this mindset still seems a bit behind compared to countries like the US or Korea. However, once people understand that the focus is on protection and functionality, their perspective changes quickly. Of course, the designs are beautiful and the dogs look adorable, but the true value lies in the practical benefits.

 

We often notice curiosity when we are outside, and the overall feedback is extremely positive. In person, we have never experienced negative reactions, but we have received a few comments on TikTok/IG. For example, when we were in the mountains at around minus 12 degrees Celsius, someone mentioned that Pomeranians do not need coveralls because of their thick coat. These types of comments are typically based on assumptions and a lack of real understanding, so we do not take them too seriously.

A. Even though Pomeranians have a natural double coat and are quite robust, the coveralls make a significant difference in everyday life. They help us keep the fur clean, reduce grooming effort, and maintain that soft and fluffy look much more easily.

A. Choosing a favorite coverall is almost impossible because each one serves a specific purpose depending on the weather. However, when it comes to carriers, we absolutely love the Mesh Front Bag.
